H.E. Amb. Bol Wek Makes Impromptu Visit to Makerdit Primary School

Makerdit Primary School, a historical institution that once hosted national liberators such as Dr. John Garang Mabior and H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit, welcomed an impromptu visit from H.E. Amb. Bol Wek Agoth, Governor of Warrap State.

Addressing the pupils, Governor Agoth emphasized the importance of education:
“I want you to prioritize your education, because 20 years from now, this school can produce other national leaders at the calibre of President Kiir.”

The Governor encouraged the pupils to dream big and envision themselves as future engineers, managers, sports magnates, and business leaders. He highlighted Warrap State’s abundant resources and stressed the need for qualified individuals to harness them for the greater good of society.

During the visit, Governor Agoth toured the classrooms and office blocks, observing the learning environment firsthand. He pledged support, within the capacity of the State Government, to improve the school’s facilities and overall learning conditions.

Concluding his visit, Governor Agoth expressed his commitment to peace:
“I am on a peace mission. Pray for me to succeed in ending communal conflicts in Warrap State, because I am saddened by information that even school-going children, who are our future, are directly affected.”
